20th January
Yay, finally it is 20th January, the most awaited day of the year! The most special day not only to him but also to me and the entire family. The day when our little man, though he is not little anymore, came to our lives. This is only the birth date that I remember without having face book to remind me. Some times, I don't remember my own birthday until my mother reminds me to distribute sweets to my friends, which I have never done, but I never forget my little brother's birthday.
Well, don't expect me to praise you because it is your birthday. I am going to limit praises. Let me begin by saying, you were the most stubborn kid I have ever seen. You won't agree to this fact right? Yes, but I do.
Throughout this journey, you have not only been an awesome brother but also a best friend to me. Back in schools when often I had struggles getting along with friends, you have always been there to bear my temperament. I miss those days when I went home with bag full of stories just to share with you. Remember when you are bored listening to my stories, you often ran away and I chased you until you agreed to sit quietly. Besides these infinite fond memories, we also had some unpleasant memories, infarct the terrible ones, the fights, countless quarrels and arguments over everything. To be honest, I can still feel your stiff punches against my back as we went to the school together.
Do you remember the times of our big arguments, that came by while sharing the food? You were such a bossy kid. You agree with it right?. You always took 3/4 of the food and left the rest to me. And I always used my favorite dialogue, "Don't ever be a judge in your life". But I was not as innocent as people thought, I always fought for that extra piece of food. These are few to mention. I would run out of pages to write them all. I am happy that we argued, we fought until we had bruises in our legs and eyes swollen because we lived our childhoods. After all we created memories which will always be in our hearts ever and after.
Well, this is pretty much what I have to say. I think I did justice to my statement, not to praise you too much. Or else you might stop feelings your feet on the ground.( Remember, the old saying that mother always used over and again??).
Anyway happy birthday my dear brother! May you continue to work hard and be happy always!
With love,
Your awesome sister 😉
